Dear Justine and Peter, Thanks so much for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful property. The location was amazing and such a calm serene place to come home to after our days out. We felt Tuk tuk bay was so much nicer than many of the resort areas. Joy Sam and little Peter were fantastic, and we enjoyed their company as well as feeling very spoilt by their care and attention. Once again thanks for your communication, we have raved about your place to our friends and thoroughly enjoyed Vanuatu the weather and warm friendly people we met - Linda and Kerry back in wet NZ (October 2017)
Hi Jus and Pete, Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise in Port Vila. From the moment the on-site managers, Sam and Joy led us through the double timber doors into the home of Pacifique Vueit took our breath away. The house was comfortable and Jack loved having a king size bedroom to himself. We spent many hours sitting on the verandah looking out over the expanse of lawn which Jack enjoyed doing flips and running around on, towards the divine pool and ocean beyond. Pure bliss.
Sam and Joy looked after us wonderfully. Jack enjoyed going out kayaking with Sam, snorkeling and having a go at boxing drills. Hard work he said. Sam cooked a camp oven chicken for us a couple of nights and the fresh crayfish he caught straight from the ocean for our lunch one day was magic. A sprinkling of fresh lime juice from the lime tree on site just made the dish perfect.
Joy made our stay in the house very comfortable. Being so well looked after was such a treat. Having fresh paw paw and bananas brought into the kitchen from the property was so good. We’ve never tasted bananas that sweet before.
The house was quiet and peaceful, with only the sounds of the waves at night to listen to.
After a couple of days we hired a car to be able to move around more freely. We ventured out and about many days after that to explore the beautiful island. The Blue Lagoon was amazing, the views from the Summit, garden and lunch there was wonderful. Tasted our first “chicken of the sea” at the Summit. Great.
Jack loved the Adventure Park close to Pacifique Vue, going zorbing and endless rides on the water slide. We did the Coongoola cruise day trip to turtle sanctuary, snorkeling, and bbq lunch on an amazing beach. It was the stuff you see in movies. Crystal clear, warm water – it was just heaven.
We hit the Beach Bar on Friday night and were thoroughly entertained by the fire performers. Real holiday mood with lots of families on the beach, having pizzas and drinks and watching these amazing performers to the doof doof sounds of pop songs. Loved it.
I think your suggestion to hire a car for part of the holiday was a great idea.
Our favourite thing was the pool. Heaven. From early morning until dusk a lot of the days we spent in or by the pool. I read two books. Watching the sunsets from poolside was magic. We also loved the kayaking and snorkeling just off the property. We saw a turtle in the water!
Having wi-fi kept us a little in touch with home, but we found we did so much outside and exploring that we really only caught up online in the evenings.
All-in-all we’ve had an amazing holiday, we’ve come back refreshed and relaxed and planning our next trip to Pacifique Vue. Thank you again. - John, Karenand Jack, Melbourne, Australia (October 2016)
Dear Justine, We had a wonderful time, thank you! It was everything we'd hoped for. The house and location are beautiful. Having Maggie meet us at the airport was fantastic... the drive through town to Bon Marche to do our groceries and then out to Pacifique Vue gave us a good introduction to Port Vila. We were able to do most of the things Maggie spoke about. Please can you thank her for her introduction, it was great! We had one day of torrential rain and the others were perfect. Having the car was really good, as we did a round trip one day and getting into town was easy. Getting used to driving on the right hand side of the road was interesting! We snorkelled at Hideaway Island and took the cruise off Havana Bay and snorkelled out there. That was a first for all of us and a real treat. We also enjoyed the markets and getting to speak to local people. Helen is a treasure. Sam was quiet but took the boys breath away when they found him using a bow and arrow and spear fishing! Thank you again, I'd like to think we'll visit again one day! - Lou & Bill, Mt Eliza, Australia (September 2013)
Thank you, Justine, for the past week at Pacifique Vue. It was truly relaxing, and your property is stunning! David and Edith were completely fantastic. They looked after us so attentively and helped enrich our experience in so many ways. They were full of advice about food shopping, sightseeing, local language and customs; and of course how best to enjoy your property: where to fish, where to snorkel, and how to catch crabs! We look forward to booking another holiday at Pacifique Vue, and recommending it highly to our friends and family - Suzie & Patrick, Narrabundah, ACT, Australia (May 2013)
Hi Justine. Back home in Oz, just want to let you know the whole family had a great time. David, Edith and Lily were wonderful, looked after us Nambawan. Thanks again - Glenn, Launceston, Australia (October 2012)
Hi Justine. We can't tell you what a success this holiday was for us as a family particularly when we were at your lovely house. We unwound, the kids chilled, we loved David and Edit and their gorgeous children and the house is very special. We especially loved the paw paws and the views and the sunsets, the pool and the snorkelling, and the design of the house for a family with 5 kids 8 to 22 was perfect!! We all just loved it. Great to have internet access provided too. Best - Paula (and Damian, Jorja, Madison, Laura, Ash & Tobi), Melbourne, Australia (October 2012)
Hi Justine, Just a short note to say how we loved staying at Pacfique Vue. It was our first visit to Vanuatu ... your home is gorgeous, the pool sublime, the weather was superb and Rebecca was a delight. Being able to access the coral reef and tropical fish on the doorstep was a real treat for our very excited five year old who would be up at 6am every morning ready to swim....!! Thank you so much. We hope to visit again soon. Best wishes - Pip, Auckland, New Zealand
Our time at Pacifique Vue was perfect, whether it was taking a nap on the comfy lounges by the pool or exploring the ocean right on the doorstep with the supplied canoes, we had a great time. We found it very hard to draw ourselves away from the ocean fed pool that gave a spectacular view of the dolphin pods that swam passed, backed by the Port Vila sunset. Breathtaking! Thanks so much to Jerry and Rebecca for being incredibly friendly and taking us on marine adventures to discover clown fish that were only 5m from the shore! The place gave us a break from the often hectic nature of Port Vila and in the end we were very sad to part with our new home away from home. Thanks Pete and Justine! - Josh, Gisborne, Australia.
We had such a relaxing time at Pacifique Vue thank you. The setting is so peaceful, the rooms immaculate and the ocean fed swimming pool is a real highlight. I particularly enjoyed sitting by the pool or on the deck of the home watching the sun set and listening to the waves. Thank you also to Jerry and Rebecca for making my break so idyllic. They were always on hand to answer any questions and they keep the property very clean and in wonderful condition. We will return to your island paradise - Scott, Melbourne, Australia
